We have just received confirmation that Khenpo Karma Drodul (who spent two months teaching in Samye Ling in 2024 and also in 2025) has been granted a UK visa and will be arriving soon. 

Khenpo Drodul will be teaching in Samye Ling from 19^th June 2026.

There are two parts to his teachings:

Part 1 from 19th to 24th June and

Part 2 from 3rd July to 23rd August.

In both parts he will be giving daily teachings on the topic of Abhidharma from His Holiness the 9^th Gyalwang Karmapa, Wangchuk Dorje’s text, ‘The Essence of the Great Ocean of Abidharma’.

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone wishing to gain a good grounding in Mahayana Buddhism and we’re letting you know so that you can share this information with people connected to your centre.  

Also, if there is someone who contributes a lot to your centre and who would like to attend some or all of these teachings but lacks the funds, we may be able to help if they are willing to accept dormitory accommodation.

The person can make a booking as usual and also the responsible person in your centre should send an email to bookings@samyeling.org explaining who they are and why you consider them to be worthy of assistance.
